Well, in my opinion, you just went back to the state from before two years … you divided the community even more … because at the moment people have closed in organizational chats and can not talk with each other and share experiences outside the organization.
And when you make that decision, have you considered the situation of potential supporters who do not know English, German or French and are not affiliated with any organization?
New people come to SC, and they do not necessarily have to be recruited by someone who speaks their language ….
Until now, they could use nationality chat, after this change they will be forced to join an organization indirectly, if they do not operate any of the above-mentioned languages.
Another perspective is when a new player joins a non-english chatroom and encounters unpleasant behavior. Due to not having staff to support that specific language, these types of things can be easily missed, which leaves backers subject to unwelcome content. We are very excited to bring these channels back, and are even more excited that we are now in a position to allocate more resources to bringing the team in house, expanding, and ultimately offering a better level of service to the community.
