The jitter you see inside the ship when QD. The 600i suffers the hardest from this. It turns the ship in a ugly jitter and really unsharp thing inside when QD. It’s like the effects of QD from outside the ship now are inside the ship and affect everything. All ships have this but the 600i whit it’s clean interior it’s easiest to use as a example. What is weird about the 600I tho at least for me. Is that when you play on higher resolutions like 4k or 1440p everything looks normal when just flying. But when in QD the 600i interior looks like a much lower resolution. Can’t really explain it it’s a very weird thing.
Yeah don’t worry, we know about this but haven’t had a chance to fix it yet. We’re pretty certain the culprit is the temporal antialiasing, or more accurately, a disagreement between the screen-space motion vectors we store for the objects you’re looking at, and the camera’s own calculated motion vector. It’ll take some debugging to work out if it’s imprecision, or if one of them is being calculated differently or stored wrong, but the issue is basically that it’s continuously trying to find what the object looked like on the previous frame, and missing slightly.
