It’s not screen resolution issue – its poorly programmed UI / gfx settings which are assuming certain aspect ratio. Star Citizen supports at least as high as 8K (8192 x 4320 pixels). The “hacks” done just become vicible when you have non 16:9 aspect ratio – like, for example, the fact that helmet is not actually rendered like it was supposed to but is just an arbitrary overlay slapped on top of rendered image.
Wait, that’s odd.
The helmet really is a rendered mesh (I’ve sometimes wished it was an overlaid image, would avoid some issues 😉 ).
