In my opinion the low fps are caused by: 30% for bad optimization and 70% for some next-gen feature. I think this Global illumination is very expensive, if i’m not wrong there is SVOGI tecnique. And also the very high risolution texture i think is too expensive
The game is not using SVOGI currently. GI at the moment is a combination of fairly standard environment probes (optionally runtime-generated) and screen-space reflection. Planet atmospheres also have their own approximate lighting contribution for areas too far away to be covered by the largest environment probe.
