So, it’s clear to me from the SQ42 update post that CIG is very sensitive to negative feedback from the community, I.E. ‘people will complain if we release a low quality video’.
I can show CIG a brave new path to follow.
When people like the community or gaming media complain, and you know the complaints are unfounded, there is a new strategy that can be tried.
You could like, you know… ignore them?
Just put the facts out there, communicate clearly and with integrity, and if anyone has negative comments, just let them be.
Let the game stand on its own merits. Let people make their own decisions with the info you provide us, and if someone is unhappy, that’s ok.
Not everything is for everyone and people need to come to terms with that.
It might be worth a try instead of being so afraid of your community and the world at large that it paralyzes you.
There are many threads that exist already that you could have posted this as a comment. Regardless, appreciate the feedback.
