Somebody post this IC recently and I contributed to it:
I assume this is the same than mine (but I’m not sûre, there is not a lot of details and english is not my native language). In PTU 3.13 (since first wave 1 patch), I have a strong issue with my Z axe on my right joystick. I’m using a T16000M HOTAS and I use the Z axe for roll. Sometimes, my ship roll alone, without any action from myself. Sometimes, it works fine. Sometimes, it’s a long and slow agony for 1h, 2h, 4h where my ship will spend its time in roll alone intermittently.
I checked the configuration panel of my device in Windows and this axe is fix without any issue:
Note that there is 2 days, it was my throttle that didn’t worked until I stop SC, change my USB port, then restart SC (it worked perfectly the day before and since I reconnected it to the original port and it works). I was seriously starting to think it was coming from my joystick, but not since this morning.
So in SC, I tried to invert X (yaw) and Z during 30 minutes (after few uncontrollable roll) and nothing happened, no issue. So I put again my roll on z, and after few seconds, boum, roll without any action from myself.
I tried to up the deadzone. First time from 0.10 to 0.50 => same issue.
Second time from 0.50 => 0.80 : no more roll.
I reset my deadzone and put 0.15 => no more roll.
If I run SC in PU 3.12, the roll of the ship without any action on my side is really not existent.
Anybody else has joystick issue ? One guy of my org said that it’s the mini-joystick of his throttle which is activating alone, without any action (same setup than me). Another said it’s his groom (where the roll is binded). I know the T16000M is not top quality or built to last, but I have serious doubts about SC.Edit: another OP about this: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/3/thread/3-13-ptu-flight-stick-bug
Shooting in the dark here … have you copied and pasted your settings from 3.12? If yes please delete your user folder and setup your bindings from scratch without using any of the older profile files.
