im already thinking about the power triangle and binding it to one of my hats, like I had in E:D and struggled.
I noticed an “unpleasant” issue. in the heat of combat its always easier to PUSH, than pull on your hat. its just quicker
problem with the power triangle is now, that one system is visually put on the pull side of things (engines).
imho it would be better to “flip” the triangle, to match the quicker movements of pushing the hat….so pulling could then bound as reset.
i hope my bad description and reasoning was understandable anyway
on top of that, can we get an autorepeat feature, if the push is longer, we then can throw around the power quicker to full capacity, instead of having to push 2-3 times?
that would be great and would spare me the installation of joy gremlin for macroing that. and believe me……in E:D EVERYONE has macroed that! because with the need
of the constant juggle, pushing 10 times more on your hat is not only tiring but also feels stupid.
@IceyJones, it absolutely makes sense and funny enough I had the similar thoughts about the triangle the other day. 🙂 Changing the graphics for 3.14 is not very realistic though … the triangle itself is in the legacy MFD tech which takes quite a long time to change … and we’re quite far already in the 3.14 release cycle. But we’ll definitely keep it in mind for later releases. :+1:
